On August 1, 1987, Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio was established as the global socio-cultural organization for Ibibio people, fostering unity and cultural preservation worldwide. This marked a pivotal moment for collective identity.

The USA & Canada Commission extends this vital mission, coordinating North American chapters and implementing policies that bridge ancestral heritage with modern intergenerational leadership and civic engagement.
